So behind...

To all of you out there who read our blog...(if there are any of you) I'm so sorry. The last couple weeks have been nothing but chaos and I've gotten a little behind on our blog. I'm almost to 23 weeks, although it may get bumped up a week or two after our next doctors appointment.

We went in for the ultrasound this last Wednesday. As the doctor measured the length of our little ones leg the computer said I was 24w1d when I was supposed to be 22w1d. HOLY SMOKES this child has long legs. As he measured around baby's torso and head we came up with around 22w4d and so the average of all the measurements put me at 23w1 day, a week ahead of what I supposedly am (this does NOT hurt my feelings).

As we took a peak into the future of what we would be having it was hard to tell, baby was facing my back and the doctor thought it was a girl...after remeasuring the head and looking at the two chambers of the heart, our little pill rolled over. Taking another look the doctor came to the conclusion...

It's a Boy!

We’d like to welcome Lukas Gene Johnson into our family. He is already a very active boy but seems to have developed a sleeping patter…sort of. It is inevitable that he starts kicking around nine in the morning, unless I’m up earlier. He also starts kicking between nine and eleven each night. This kid is like a ticking clock that does not let me forget “I’m Hungry”. I cannot wait till the day we get to see and hold him. He is a blessing to our family along with a great husband that I have been with for almost a year. Hard to believe how time flies!
