♫ The wonderful thing about tiggers,
are tiggers are wonderful things,
their tops are made out of rubber,
their bottoms are maid out of springs,
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy,
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun...
But the most wonderful thing about tiggers
Is I'm the only one. ♫
He likes to bounce, just like his best buddy Tigger. With his extra bounce/wiggle, it's making it difficult to stand by himself, let alone walk. I'm sure he will get better as time goes on but for now he's got the boot scoot and boogie of crawling down and he can move.
Luke loves the pool, he has been patiently waiting to get in day after day as the water slowly warmed up using our solar water heater that we made. We finally got a warm day but even more remarkable was the water temperature was warmer than the air temperature. Too bad it didn't feel that warm but it was definitely better than 70 degrees.
Luke waiting to get in the pool while mommy gets the cover off!
Luke floating around in his seat. He LOVES water!
A couple days ago we were in Portland for some business and decided to go to the zoo. $10.50 each for an adult and $2.00 for parking...can anyone say OUCH. We ended up just getting the Zoo4Two membership since Luke is under three and does not count yet. It took a little while but we walked through the whole zoo. Luke is still little so unless the animal was moving he had a hard time seeing them. He seemed to like one of the smaller cats who paced back and forth across the window along with the baby elephant who was knocking carrots out of the dispenser that they have hanging. We ate lunch and just enjoyed spending time as a family.
This is the kitty that wouldn't stop pacing right in front of us.
The older male elephant at the zoo (I believe this one was born when Joseph was a baby)
Luke with the newest baby elephant. He was inside with mom eating hay and carrots.
Luke in the gift shop trying on hats. This one was cute but didn't work with his stroller.
Last night Luke figured out he could stand by our back door and watch daddy BBQ out back. It was so cute as he would chatter with daddy in his own little language of gibberish.
In the event of getting one dishwasher and it breaking down, we had to get our second one leaving us with two big boxes. We have cut doors and windows in to them and Luke thinks it's fun to play in them.
I know how to open the door mom.
Peeking out my window...
Now that is a happy boy!
Sorry that it's taken me so long to get something up here. We've been quite busy lately and it's hard to get on here and focus long enough to get something posted.
