9 Week Bump

Nine weeks a long and my pants don't fit...yes I have a slight bump and can no longer suck my stomach in. Well we had two gift cards for Macy's left over from our wedding and Alex took me in and we looked at finding me some new pants. After walking around looking at every brand of jeans they seemed to carry I found a couple that I figured I would try on. I decided to go over to the junior section and found some cotton pants/capri that looked to be comfortable, cool, and best off all, not as expensive as the jeans. I tried on the pants and fell in love with them. Since I'm not going to get any smaller in the next couple months I got one size up (they have a tie). I ended up getting three pairs.

With in my little bump is our little baby. In the last week, baby has almost double in size and is now about the size of a green olive (about 1")
This just seems so unrealistic to me at the moment as I'm sure it is to many first time moms. With all the growing that baby has been doing, mom hasn't been sleeping so great at night which in turn has led to nap time on the couch during the day. I'm excited to be going into the last month of the first trimester for it puts me that much closer being able to hear, see, and hold this beautiful baby in my arms. We have less than two weeks now till we get to hear the heartbeat.
It amazes me with how fast this little heart could beat considering it is so tiny.
