Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle Wooooorm...

We're having a...wiggle worm. Okay not to get your hopes up, we still haven't been able to get into have the ultra sound done but we're hoping to in the next few weeks. All my friends seem to think we're having a girl. Whether it's because I started showing early and I have quite the round belly now or because I didn't deal with any major morning sickness I don't know but I have yet to have a single person tell me they think I'm having a boy. We went into the doctor this last week and as I was sitting there getting ready for her to listen to the heart beat, I said "this baby moves a lot". I don't think she believed me until she stuck the doppler on my round tummy and kept having to move it around. She commented on how wiggly this child really was. I'm shocked baby didn't try to kick it off, but that may be because she wasn't pushing in much.
I can't believe how fast this child is growing. We have a sweet little mango this week. He or she loves food. I don't have to wait for my tummy to start growling to know that baby needs more, nope I just get a good kick right up into my stomach...and it's almost inevitable. In the last week baby has grown half an inch reaching 6 inches from crown to rump. This doesn't include those little legs that seem to be getting really strong. Baby has also put on around two ounces, another good sized jump from the normal half ounce to one ounce a week. Alex was FINALLY able to feel baby move. Most of the time if he tried baby would move and kick me in the back or stop all together.

In going to the doctor this last week she told me I needed to eat more. I might have started showing early but I haven't really gained much weight. Its just been in the last week or two that I've actually started putting on weight. Last month I was told I need to be eating something at least every three house...now I'm supposed to be eating every two. On the days when I'm board out of my mind it will probably be easy but the days that I work or am at the market I don't think about eating in between meals so much. I also am supposed to track what I'm eating for a week....and good luck with that one. I'm horrible about remembering to do things and remembering to keep a journal of everything I eat is no different. She mainly just wants to see why I'm getting headaches all the time. At first we figured it was lack of calcium...that was not the case. I usually drink a lot of milk and have cheese here and there whether in a meal or as a snack. I was also eating yogurt and other things high in calcium. Next we thought it was protein but when asked what we eat for meals we came to the conclusion that was not it either. So I guess I'll make and effort to start tomorrow at trying to eat more and write it down. Well I didn't get pictures taken for 19 weeks but I'm determined to get them for week 20 since I feel like I've just ballooned out in the last couple weeks. So till then sayonara!
