Alex and I are still in the Saturday market each week. My hours at work have almost doubled for the month of August, and we got to go in to the doctors yesterday. Shockingly at week 27 he is already head down and I can feel it some days. I can also feel when his little back/butt is up against my stomach. Since I'm now in the third trimester I had to do the glucose test. Lucky me I did NOT have to drink that nasty stuff, I got to eat Jelly Beans. While it does sound like a much better deal, I have to say it can make you just ask sick. I had to eat this bag of them in 10 minutes. I hit the 10 minute mark and felt sick as could be and I wasn't done. I still had a good 15+ to eat. Lessons learned, eat two or three at a time. When we got to the office I was shaky; it was obvious that I don't normally eat sugar like that all at once. Alex kept asking me if I felt okay...not really was about the only answer I could come up with. My body went into over time trying to get rid of it and I started over heating. Catherine turned up the airflow to help keep me cool. We checked his heartbeat, everything sounded good. She checked my blood pressure and that was good, next was the drawing of blood. She went into my right arm and the first thing that came out of my mouth was "owww" She looked at me and quickly apologized. She had gone clear through the vein so she had to pull it out and try again in another vein. I have a nice blue bruise on my arm now that will hopefully go away soon. I will try and get my 27 week picture up soon!

2/3rds of the way there...REALLY?
Okay so even I'm having a hard time believing it but reality is, I'm in the third trimester. Okay better yet, WE'RE in the third trimester. Alex has been such a blessing in my life, he's patient with me when I don't have any patience left. I find it funny how I have a ton of patience with little kids, and yet, when it comes to having patience with myself, it's something I greatly lack. In the last couple months I've started having problems with my back because of the way Luke decides to lay. I had to get a belt that I wear under my stomach to support him. I keep forgetting to have Alex take pictures so I have a couple not so great ones on my phone. Here is my 26 week shot...
