So today is a big day. No, Luke is not here...this is what we made it the big day. To be born at home we had to make it to at least week 36, other wise we would have to go into the hospital. I've been dealing with braxton hicks contractions for over a month now but they are starting to become more prominent & frequent along with other pre-labor signs. When my midwife was here this last week she said that I'm effaced and have started to slowly dilate. I keep telling the little man he has to wait. Catherine says he'll be here in the next week to week and a half but she doesn't think we're going to go too far past week 37 and definitely not to the end. We will know if I've progressed more this Thursday. Anytime after Sunday would be fine with me.
As for now, his room is done, laundry is caught up, dishes are mostly washed and we have everything except for the pool which we will pick up Thursday....ready or not world here we come!
