Where You Stand

Sunday mornings are a time for me to ponder my life.  Where I've been, where I'm going and how I'm living.  I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and have a testimony of the blessing it is.

Where You Stand - Jenny Phillips

There’s a quiet whispering deep in your heart,
It’s a voice that reminds you who you really are.
You were faithful to the father you worshipped the son.
You rejoiced in the plan that allowed you to come,
to this earth to live and achieve,
now is the time to stand up for what you believe.

Do you remember the promised you made back then,
how you longed for the chance to show faith in him,
now that you’re here and you’re finding your voice,
you’re living the plan and you’re making the choice.
Where you stand, Where you stand, where you stand.

You know there’d be moments where you’d walk alone,
With darkness and trails you’d face on your own,
you knew there’d be times when the choice was  unclear,
and you need him to quiet your doubts and you fears,
to give comfort, to show you the way,
now it’s your moment to say…

You remember the promise you made back then,
how you longed to show faith in him
now that you’re hear and you’re raising your voice
you’re living the plan and you’re making the choice.
where you stand where you stand where you stand.
Where you stand

I have now been sitting here attempting to write this blog for the last half an hour but nothing feels right.  I guess for this one, the song kind of says what it needs to on it's own and I'm off to get ready for church.
