Being February, we were the only ones there which was nice. Other than it being cold I really didn't mind because there were no bugs out to eat me alive. After breakfast on Tuesday we cleaned up camp and decided to be adventurous. We drove up a little ways and stopped to take pictures of Sunset falls. The water was absolutely beautiful and clear.
We kept driving up Forestry Road 42 stopping to take pictures along the way. We saw some pretty amazing little waterfalls and landscapes as we hiked in and out of different areas, here are a few...
This log was covered by some type of ground cover that looked like a type of clover. I wish I'd gotten a better picture because it truly was amazing.

After taking this picture I kept thinking "oh how nice it would be to have a professional camera where I could change the shutter speed and you could see every drop perfectly. Well I came home and picked up a couple photography books and was reading that this was a really great shot. Waterfalls aren't supposed to be still, they are supposed to look like they are moving and in all reality, using a slower shutter speed would give me the same effect I got!
This was my favorite fall that we found. It looked like something you would find in a Mayan Temple. We really had to hike to get to it though so we don't think that it was an old building of any kind...

Our last morning there I got this beautiful picture of the sun coming up between the trees. Finding the beauty in all things (including moss) is kind of fun!
I love the photos of the falls...glad you had fun
