This week last week has been one I will probably never forget. Our goal was to get our house cleaned before tomorrow (Tuesday). We were doing really good, almost caught up on laundry and kitchen was almost cleaned. A friend called me and asked if we could come help her pack all her boxes out to her car so she could get out of her apartment on time. We said yes thinking we would go over, load, and be done, then we could come home and work on our own house. Well we got roped into coming back another two times through out the day to help pack and load again. The end of the day we found out this friends cat has fleas. We were not happy, especially since we have a cat ourselves and we know she did not have them. We ran to the Fred Meyers that night and grabbed flea medication for her and spray for the whole house. Needless to say, it kept them intact but it didn't kill all of them. We ended up having to run to the store again and spend more money on the stuff that does work from a pet store. After each of us being bit once we are grateful to say that we are flea free, our house is clean and laundry is caught up.
Tomorrow is going to be a lot of work and a lot of fun. Both of our parents are coming over tomorrow night. We're having salad, pot roast, and pumpkin pie for dinner. I can't wait. I'll have more to write about it after dinner tomorrow night!
