Busy Bodies Galore...

The past two weeks I have spent sitting at a table in the back of our living room covered in string and scraps of fabric.  First it started off with the many heat packs that I make.  I got most of them done but ran out of my 50lbs of corn.  I can say that it has made quite a few considering how much 50lbs is.
Amongst the heat packs I was sewing cooler neck wraps.  I don't know why but these things felt like they took an eternity to complete.  They are all sewn up now minus the one that ran away and I finally found yesterday. Below is a picture of around 40 neck wraps awaiting their turn in the washer.
After finishing up the heat packs and neck wraps I started on one of our newest products, our market bags.  These bags are great.  They roll up and fit into a small bag that you can throw into your purse or glove box and great for those stops at the farmers market in the summer.  Here is one that i finished.  We have a few more that I am still working on.
I love my next little project, simple but useful for those who hate wasting bags but love the bulk section in places like Winco...our dry food bags are made from a breathable linen.  I wouldn't suggest using them for things like flower or sugar as they might leak (we need to test this theory before we start selling them) but they would be great for things like dry noodles, cereal, and granola.
While trying to get this done I still have a hubby and son to take care of.  Luke has received the busy body award.  He had figured out how to climb on EVERYTHING and has even figured out how to stand up in his crib with no help from us.  Let me tell you, he is a handful now, I don't want to know what he's going to be like when he can walk...oh by the way, did I mention that he's trying to let go and starting balancing on his own.  Yep he's a pill and that is exactly what we call him.  Anyways it's been a busy couple of weeks and we're about ready to trail into another one.  I'll try and keep up with the blog although as any of you know who read the blog, I'm not very good at it :) Night!
